CHEMOURS (DUPONT) FREON 410A X 10KGS HFC REFRIGERANT GAS (CHINA)

Freon™ 410A is the leading HFC refrigerant for replacing R-22 in positive displacement residential and light commercial air-conditioning and heat pump systems. It has higher cooling capacity and significantly higher pressure than R-22 and should be used only in systems specifically designed for R-410A.

HFC-410A is included in the U.S. EPA SNAP de-listing of HFCs that will no longer be acceptable in new equipment in certain end use applications in the U.S. market. There are no U.S. regulations currently impacting the HFC service market. Refer to the Summary of U.S. EPA SNAP Regulations Pertaining to Refrigerants.

ASHRAE

R-410A; A1 Safety Classification

Replaces

R-22

Applications

New residential and commercial air conditioning and heat pumps.

Benefits

  • Equipment designed for Freon™ 410A has up to 60% greater capacity than current R-22 equipment.
  • Air conditioning systems with Freon™ 410A can meet or exceed local energy performance guidelines, such as U.S. DOE guidelines for 13 SEER.

Phaseout Schedule

Consult the specific regulations in your country or region.

Lubricant Recommendation

POE

A blend of R-32 and R-125 that nearly forms an azeotrope, which means it has extremely low temperature glide and almost no fractionation potential. This blend has about 60% higher pressure than R-22 in air conditioning applications, and therefore should be used only in new equipment specifically designed to handle the pressure. Systems designed for R-410A will have smaller components (heat exchangers, compressor, etc.) to perform the same cooling job compared to R-22. R-410A will require POE lubricants. Retrofitting R-22 equipment is not recommended under any circumstances.
